The term ‘clean beauty’ is likely to feature in multiple holiday wish lists this season, as the consumer appetite for skincare and cosmetics formulated without potentially harmful chemicals increases.
We round up five of the hottest new skincare products, ideal for gifting the beauty buff in your life this year.
Victoria Beckham
Fashion and beauty mogul Victoria Beckham made her first foray into skincare this month, launching a “Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer” created in partnership with Professor Augustinus Bader’s eponymous skincare label. The lightweight crème promises to support cell turnover and plump and tone skin, as well as reduce the appearance of pores.
Herbivore
Herbivore’s new Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum looks like a rainbow in a bottle, making it one of the prettiest beauty treats out there right now. It also promises to exfoliate, soothe and hydrate the skin, thanks to a formula containing natural fruit- and plant-based AHAs and Willow Bark BHA.
FaceTory
Keep pores in check with one of K-beauty expert FaceTory’s debut skincare products, the “FaceTory Artemisia Pore Refining Toner Mist.” The mist contains 50% artemisia capillaris extract, which is also referred to as “artemisia” or “mugwort extract,” and is known for tackling complexion issues such as redness, inflammation and dullness.
Biossance
Not only does Biossance’s new “Squalane + Rose Vegan Lip Balm” contain Wakame Algae to help lips look plump and smooth, but it also features Rose Absolute for a naturally calming scent.
Origins
Skincare brand Origins is fighting dryness this season with its new “Ultra Hydrating, Energy-Boosting Cream,” combining Hydra-Hug Technology, coffee and ginseng to offer 72 hours of continued hydration. IB/JB
