You can now enjoy your favorite mozzarella cheese with an oozing goth edge!
The goth-food trend has been making waves lately, putting a black twist on popular food options such as:
Black-bun burgers
Charcoal Ice cream
Black-bun hot dogs
Charcoal black pizza
Pasta
Goth cheese connoisseurs who are looking for an edgier flavor and look for their mozzarella are in for a treat—because this restaurant in Jakarta has made the cheese that will satisfy their black-as-my-soul palettes.
Willie Brothers, a steakhouse in Jakarta known for their cheese and meat combos, recently launched a new addition to their menu—mozzarella cheese with activated charcoal.
Dubbed Venom Cheese, the mozzarella cheese is mixed with activated charcoal to give it the dark hue. Activated charcoal is known for health benefits such as helping with digestion, lowering cholesterol, and aiding with hangovers. But with the heap of cheese you’ll get on your burger, steak, or garlic rice, we doubt that it will help lower your cholesterol at all. *wink wink*
It is currently available only in Indonesia, so you might want to take a trip there to satisfy your goth cravings. 💀
