Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings complete the 2024 meme bingo card

Artists Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings have recently found themselves in controversy after the latter’s ex-girlfriend, Jamela Villanueva, dropped a “bombshell.”

On December 3, Villanueva posted a series of photos on her Instagram story, exposing the relationship between Jennings and Racal.

Since Racal and Jenning’s pairing in the series “Can’t Buy Me Love” as Snoop and Irene (popularly known as “Snorene”), they have been gaining attention for their on-screen chemistry and their “kanal vs. aircon” humor. Despite both being in separate relationships at the time, fans supported their pairing, giving them the official loveteam name “MaThon.” However, the two have also been embroiled in rumors and controversy over the past few months.

Racal announced her breakup with Rico Blanco last July, while Jennings recently confirmed his split with Villanueva.

In recent months, speculation surrounding the pair intensified after Villanueva shared cryptic posts about cheating, betrayal, and boundaries in relationships. While these posts fueled rumors, fans defended Racal and Jennings, dismissing the allegations as baseless.

Despite their disappointment with the two artists, social media users can’t help but joke about the situation, creating funny posts and memes and even declaring that Racal and Jennings have completed the 2024 meme calendar.
