Logan Paul sends lookalike to answer BBC interview on crypto scam allegations on his behalf

On November 20, the BBC published an article detailing the allegations about Logan Paul misleading his fans about crypto investments over the last few years.

The publication said that Paul refused to be interviewed regarding their investigation for several months, but then later on gave in, inviting them to his gym in Puerto Rico.

However, after flying in, the BBC crew were instead greeted by Rodney Peterson, a Logan Paul lookalike who went viral on TikTok. A day after the BBC story was published, Paul uploaded a video, revealing he was telling Peterson what to say through an earpiece.

“Minutes after abandoning the interview, we received a lawyer’s letter on behalf of Paul, warning us of the possible consequences if we published our findings,” they said in the story.

Several social media users shared their thoughts on the trolling that Logan Paul did:

The YouTuber’s involvement with crypto has sparked a flurry of headlines over the years, as he has been accused of scamming fans on multiple occasions.

It wasn’t until YouTube crypto investigator Coffeezilla looked into several of his projects that it became apparent that they were scams, and that Logan had involvement in them.

Logan Paul then responded to the videos made by Coffeezilla, and after a back and forth between the two content creators, led to Paul revealing a $1.3M plan to refund those affected by the project falling through. But then months later, Logan filed a defamation lawsuit against Coffeezilla for the “immense harm that he has caused to Paul’s reputation” with his investigative series.
