Fans of the One Direction star expressed their dismay at Tate by tweeting their disapproval of the social media personality’s comment on Tomlinson.
“Not Andrew T@te starting beef with the one person with a more fanatical fan base than his.
Also, police reported his net worth was not even close to what he reported. 4 months ago, it was allegedly only $12M. Know whose net worth is more? Louis Tomlinson’s,” one fan said.

The X user who Tate attacked also posted various tweets to address the issue and apologized to Tomlinson.
“This is genuinely the craziest night of my life. louis tomlinson if u see this Pls don’t hate me i didn’t mean for this to happen,” she said on a tweet.
She also tweeted that she received tons of death threats and slurs directed at Louis Tomlinson.
“Honestly watching my dms slowly go from death threats and slurs to louis fans asking if im okay has been Beautiful to watch thank u lads,” she said.
She also added that she’s upset for unintentionally dragging Tomlinson, but she’s not taking down the tweet as it doesn’t change her opinion on anything that has to do with the US elections.
