K-pop singer Park Bo Ram was unfortunately reported dead after her former agency XANADU Entertainment released a statement that on the evening of April 11 at the age of 30 the singer died. According to the released statement, that was released on the morning of April 12, there is still no confirmed cause of death and the Korean authorities are still going through records in finding some leads.
On May 23, a month after her death, Namyangju Nambu Police Station released the reports from National Forensic Service (NFS) to the public. According to the autopsy done on the singer, the cause of death of Park Bo Ram is acute alcohol poisoning. This happens to people who consume huge amounts of alcohol in a short span of time.
Prior to her death, the singer had actually been suffering from different health concerns involving fatty liver disease and liver lesions.
In the reports, on the day of Bo Ram’s death, she is actually having drinks with two of her close friends at one of their houses. After a while of fun and catching up, the singer excused herself and went to the bathroom but after some time of her not coming out one of her friends went to check her out and that is where they found her unconscious body lying on the floor. The medical team tried to save her unfortunately, at 11:17 p.m. the singer was pronounced dead.
Park Bo Ram gained her popularity after she appeared on “Superstar K2” in 2010 and her rise to stardom when she released her debut song “Beautiful” in 2014. In an unfortunate event, Bo Ram is actually in the middle of preparation for the event of her 10th anniversary since her debut.
All the condolences from Korean media and friends poured in for losing a beloved friend. Fans grieve for the lost of their idol but everyone prayed for she may rest in peace.
