Two decades after J.K. Rowling introduced us to the wizarding world, her first Harry Potter book gets a revamp with unique designs representing Hogwart houses by award-winning illustrator Levi Pinfold. According to Pottermore, “…each cover tells a different story, with the artist using traditional heraldry from historic coat of arms imagery to delve deep into each house.”

Pinfold designed unique crests that symbolizes and, to him, perfectly represents the legacy of each house.

Gryffindor: Red signifies military strength, while the unicorn symbolizes purity and courage. The antlers, just like in Harry’s stag patronus, represents strength and agility.

Slytherin: Green is for endurance, the dragon-like cockatrice suggests Slytherins are fierce warriors, and the crescent represents glory and honor.

Hufflepuff: Yellow symbolizes generosity, the beech leaves are for tolerance, and the little lamb shows gentleness.

Ravenclaw: The parchment scroll suggests academic achievement, the owl symbolizes wisdom, and the spearhead for sharpness of wit, and the book for knowledge.

So flaunt your house pride with these special editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with a book cover of your choice. You can also get your own copy at Amazon. If you still don’t know which house you belong to yet, you can get sorted at Pottermore.

And if anyone asks you if you still love Harry Potter after all these (20) years? You know the answer is “Always.”
