Thai star Bright Vachirawit shocks fans after admitting relationship with ‘2gether’ co-star Nene Pornnapan

As of April 22, Bright Vachirawit, renowned for his role in the popular Thai series “2gether,” officially confirmed that he and his co-star are in a relationship. This confirmation came through his tweet on X (formerly Twitter), “I know there is recent news that might have caught you off guard. I just wanted to clarify a few things, especially for my fans who are always so caring and curious about how I am doing—yes, we are really dating.”

The actor also apologized for any sort of shock he and his girlfriend may have brought upon the fandom and also thanked those who have supported him along the way, “I’d like to apologise for shocking you with this news. We truly had no intention of disrespecting anyone or causing harm. Those who have followed me for a long time know that I always strive to be respectful and true to myself. My focus is always on spreading love and positivity through my work and dedication. I am incredibly grateful for everything that has shaped me into who I am today, and for all the love and support I’ve received. Thank you to all of you who continue to support and love me. It means a lot.” wrote Bright.

Bright subsequently expressed how he feels about Nene in the tweet stating that she makes him feel ‘warm and safe,’ “Nene is one of the most precious people I’ve met. She makes me feel warm and safe every day we’ve been together. I hope you guys will cheer for us.”

The feedback on this X thread was overwhelmingly positive, with Bright’s fans from all corners of the globe flooding it with messages of support and encouragement. Comments such as, “We are happy to see you smile a lot! Thank you for loving Japanese fans. We’ll do what we can within our power to support you” tweeted by @BrightJapanFC.

And “Congratulations boss!!! And you don’t need to explain yourself, everyone here is mature enough to understand that you have a private life that is nobody’s business! And whoever isn’t mature enough, the front door is the house’s use! We are here to support you! We love you!” wrote @BrightVBrasilFC.

Meanwhile, some fans were shocked by the news.

Speculation about the couple had been brewing even before the actor’s official confirmation on social media, triggered by sightings of the pair holding hands in Japan on April 21st. This sparked a flurry of theories among fans, with many eagerly anticipating confirmation from Bright himself.

Despite the towering ship in the ‘BrightWin’ fanbase, fans’ reactions to the news of Bright’s new relationship with Nene were unexpectedly positive. While a handful remained conflicted by the sudden announcement, a significant portion of fans rallied behind Bright, embracing his fresh relationship with Nene.

The duo initially shared the screen on the acclaimed Thai drama “2gether The Series,” where Bright portrayed Sarawat Guntithanon, one of the leading characters, while Nene took on the role of Air, a prominent member of the music club. This shared history made the surprising news of their relationship all the more staggering for fans, as they reminisced about their on-screen chemistry and dubbed it heartwarming to see the two actors getting “2gether” off-screen as well.
