Cherry Bullet officially announces disbandment

On April 22, FNC Entertainment stated Cherry Bullet’s disbandment after a long hiatus.

The agency began the statement by thanking Lullet, the official fandom of Cherry Bullet, for their unwavering love and support for the band. And with long deliberation together with the members, they decided to discontinue their group’s activities as of April 22.

Under FNC Entertainment, the group debuted in 2019. They were the company’s second girl group after their hit girl group, AOA.

They were quite successful right away and on the road to stardom by placing high on the World’s Trending Songs Chart and even garnering attention from Billboard. After a less-than-stellar return later that year with “Really Really,” things appeared to be looking up for the new group. The fandom was left in disarray when Cherry Bullet went on hiatus for nearly six months, followed by the departure of three members with little to no explanation.

In their five years of journey, the group faced mismanagement that hindered their careers, such as not having an official colour, which is an essential identity in the field. Despite being five years active in the field, they also were unable to hold a solo concert. Also, they have fewer discography, with only 23 songs. They are the only group managed by FNC that did not have Seasons greetings merchandise or any merchandise to promote them, and the member’s social media accounts are inactive.

Fans expressed sadness as they all believed Cherry Bullet was a group of talented girls with so much potential but were mismanaged by FNC.
