Takoyaki store ‘awards’ cash prize after excessive backlash from April Fools’ prank

When asked about his motivations and plans for the money, Albano said, ” Para sa bunso kong anak tsaka sa pang-tuition ng anak ko. Service nung anak kong bunso, may down syndrome. [My youngest child has Down syndrome, and he needs service and also for my child’s tuition.]” This heartfelt revelation added a poignant dimension to the story, highlighting the real-life struggles and challenges many individuals and families face.

During the video, Taragis’ owner offered Albano the opportunity to remove the tattoo. However, Albano declined, citing his commitment to providing for his child as the primary reason for enduring the initial difficulty when asked why he did the challenge, “Sa una mahirap. Eh syempre, kailangan eh para doon sa anak ko eh. [At first, it was not easy. But it is for the sake of my child because he needs it.]” This displayed the unwavering dedication resonated with the viewers, showcasing Albano’s resilience and determination as a parent.

After interviewing Ramil, Taragis presented Albano with the promised 100,000 pesos and accompanied him to visit his child. The emotional moment revealed the impact of the challenge on Albano’s family, with his son expressing fear and confusion over the situation.
