Trigger Warning: Physical harm
A mass brawl between Filipino and Thai ladyboys was witnessed by the police in Bangkok’s red-light district.
Police officers were called last Monday night on Sukhumvit Road, witnessing over 100 local workers gathering at the hotel where the overseas Filipinos (OF) were staying.
In the acquired footage, the first OF (Overseas Filipino), accused of being part of a group in conflict with the residents and stealing their customers earlier that night, was seen being dragged from the Citin Sukhumvit 11 hotel.

Despite that, the local ladyboys were enraged upon seeing their alleged attackers which then led to a chaotic scene escalating into a mass brawl.
It was also seen in the video that the local transgender women were hitting the police, climbing on buildings, attacking other girls, throwing objects, and even having their clothes ripped.
The said brawl reportedly continued to escalate at the local Lumpini district police station wherein the Filipino transgender women were detained reportedly due to not having the necessary permits and visas.
“Upon receiving the report that a large number of transgender workers were gathering, police were dispatched to provide security at the location in Soi Sukhumvit 11 to prevent further violence,” said Police Colonel Yingyot Suwanno.
“Officers were armed as is normal procedure. They handled the situation well and kept the crowd under control. Those who were involved were summoned to the police station for questioning. We assured everyone there will be fairness and we will make judgments accordingly,” he continued.
The colonel also said that they are already in the process of investigating the situation and they will check on the immigration status of the transgender workers if they are permitted to work in their country.
