Social media users call out 4th Impact for ‘irresponsible pet ownership,’ ‘dog hoarding’

P-pop girl group 4th Impact is being called out online for being irresponsible pet owners by hoarding dogs.

The band intended to find people willing to adopt their 200 dogs and rehome them, but what caught people’s attention was the fundraiser they created.

On a gofundme page, Elvira wrote, “Our journey with our beloved dogs began with a gift from our fans – five precious Shih Tzus. Over time, our passion for these furry companions led to unexpected blessings, but also unexpected challenges. Despite our busy schedules, we’ve poured our hearts into caring for them, watching them grow from newborns to cherished members of our family.”

“This separation pains us deeply. You see, each of these dogs holds a special place in our hearts. We’re not just their caregivers; we’re their family. Their well-being means everything to us. And now, as we look into their eyes, we see the longing for a home where they can run, play, and thrive together,” she continued.

She ended her statement on the page by thanking people who would help them with this cause. Other members of the group have also posted in their own accounts about the said fundraiser.

In the since-deleted post made by member Mylene on Instagram regarding the gofundme fundraiser, she wrote, “I’m knocking at your hearts to help us raise funds for their Farm Lot and house so they can be together again and have a big place to run.. we’re back here in LA to work hard for our future..”

Their intentions are not sitting well with the people online as they were quick to point out that these dogs are not being taken care of properly.

4th Impact member Mica Almira clarified the issue on Instagram and wrote, “My post on TikTok is now over 1.7M views and most of the people are taking it the wrong way..We are literally looking for another apartment for our boys coz our neighbor said they are too loud..And for the mean time we just found a new apartment for the boys but our dream is to have Farm lot so they can live together and not be separated 😢🥺.”

She ended her post by writing, “I guess people love to share their opinions even if its not necessary..Again only new born puppies are for adoption but 90% are definitely not for rehoming!!! 🐶❤️”
