We cannot deny that Filipino fandoms, particularly K-pop fans, are very passionate about supporting Korean idols in events such as fan meetings and concerts. They eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet them and sing their hearts out at various concert scenes.
With that, Filo Carats (SEVENTEEN’s fandom) were extremely excited as SEVENTEEN announced a two-day ‘Follow’ Tour at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan—marking the first international artist to perform at the venue on January 13 to 14, 2024.
But what would it be without highlights, or should we say… ‘teas’ from the fans themselves?
So, the ‘chika‘ (gossip) went like this. After the entire performance of SEVENTEEN for their Day-2 concert in Bulacan, a Twitter user drew the attention of other fans as she tweeted on X (formerly Twitter) about the alleged rampage she witnessed between the Filipino Carat and three Chinese Carats.
Guys, alam niyo ba bakit may nag away na pinoy at chinese kanina pagtapos ng concert??? paki chika naman HAHHAAHHAHA

The tweet went viral, reaching the Filipino Carat involved in the incident. In a separate tweet, the X user shared a screenshot update of their conversation, narrating her encounter with the ‘bossy’ Chinese fans who were allegedly escorted out by the marshals from their seats at the Gold B section for illegally bringing in cameras inside the concert venue.
ETO NA PUMAYAG NA! MAUPO NA KAYO POST KO NA SS!! https://t.co/kY8O6FktWH pic.twitter.com/iFi6LbysQ8

Another update was uploaded when the user shared another set of screenshots detailing the story of the clash. The Filo Carat openly told the user that the three Chinese Carats were in a hurry to go outside to retrieve the camera (which was restricted) for the supposed fansite materials, causing disrespect to the marshals.
AYAN FULL STORY HAHAHAH EVERYONE SAY THANK YOU BRAVE GIRL!!! pic.twitter.com/QRpteRuz4w

The Filo Carat who was in the barricade at that time, expressed that the behavior of the Chinese girlies made her upset, so she directly confronted them that they should not have brought the camera knowing that it was not allowed in the concert scene.
When they were about to go outside, the situation escalated as the skinny Chinese girl with a black outfit (as per her description) began hitting her head and ran. The Filo Carat then chased the girl, defending herself with punches and kicks. Simultaneously, her friend witnessed another Chinese girl, described as plump and wearing black, taking her bag that was on the ground while chasing the one who hit her. This prompted her to pull the hair of the Chinese Carat who took her bag.
The incident concluded with the involvement of the authorities. The Filipino fan, aware that the international fans were a mix of Chinese and Korean, as observed through translations, had four scratches, leading her to demand an apology from them. She also added that she was willing to go ‘the long hard way’ if they did not apologize. However, the conflict was abruptly settled, and the foreign fans already apologized due to their scheduled flight on January 16, which they did not want to miss.
One Carat even tweeted a video of the incident with the consent of the involved Filo CARAT

OP also received a message from another Carat saying that one SEVENTEEN member, Woozi, saw the fansites and reported them himself.

As usual, the clash garnered various reactions from Filo Carats, defending the Filipino fan and also claiming that her actions were a kind of rebuttal to the controversial issue of the Philippines-China rivalry in the West Philippine Sea.

Fights should, of course, be the last thing to happen during these kinds of events. Fans, if you notice something unusual or something prohibited inside the venue, always remember to promptly seek the attention of authorities to prevent such incidents from occurring.
