Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and 2PM’s Lee Jun-ho aren’t dating, sorry

On July 3, 2023, an industry insider had reported to Korean media outlet PROOF that Lee Junho and YoonA had developed a romantic relationship prior to the filming of their current JTBC drama, “King the Land.”

Later that day, both of the actors’ agencies—SM Entertainment (YoonA) and JYP Entertainment (Lee Jun-Ho), had refuted these claims. “The two are just close and the dating rumors are not true,” said SM Entertainment. JYP Entertainment had responded in a similar fashion, stating that after checking with Lee Jun-ho, “the dating rumors are groundless.”

Lee Jun-ho and YoonA have been capturing the South Korean public’s eye following their couple dances as co-MCs of MBC’s “Gayo Daejejeon” for 2 straight years since 2021. Their most famous performance together, is their “Señorita” performance from the 2022 “Gayo Daejejeon.”

Fans were in a flurry of emotions after news of the artists reportedly dating blew up. After it had been confirmed that they weren’t, well, others were disappointed. Others also brought up their unmistakable chemistry on and off-screen.
