We know you’ve been scrolling through TikTok all day, so why not make extra cash out of it?
An influencer marketing company is back again with another offer for a ‘TikTok Watching Job’ for $100 an hour.
This time they’ll be giving the opportunity to three ‘Professional TikTok Watchers’ instead of one, where they are “willing to pay $100 an hour to go on a 10-hour TikTok watching session,” the job post said.
Do the math, because that is an easy $1,000, or approximately P55,000, just by scrolling through TikTok while helping the company discover emerging trends.
Vice President of Growth of the company, Jeremy Boudinet, said in a statement, “Due to the success of October’s TikTok Watching job, we felt it was only right to bring it back for a second time and make the idea even bigger than before.”
Their only requirements are that someone be familiar with TikTok, have an ‘eye’ for trends, and be at least 18 years of age.
“Absolutely anyone can apply as long as they have a TikTok account. We’re not looking for an expert or a TikTok connoisseur, we’re just looking for someone who uses TikTok fairly frequently and has an active social media presence of their own,” Boudinet said.
The company’s last ‘TikTok Watching Job’ hunt reached more than 50,00 applicants, and a Florida State University student named Rosella Cruz, who had 75,000 followers on TikTok at that time, won.
“I love content. I knew I wanted to be a content creator since I was younger, and I spend all my day on TikTok anyways, so I felt like this was an opportunity to make money and learn more while doing something that I love,” she said in a press release.
To apply for the job, just subscribe to their YouTube channel and fill out an application form by the end of May, stating why you are the best applicant.
