Fans of Demon Slayer are expressing their disappointment over the recent US premiere of Demon Slayer: To The Swordsmith Village movie, with some considering the movie a scam as it mainly consists of a recap of the previous season, with very minimal addition of new content.
The movie is 110 minutes long and includes a recap of episodes 11 and 12 from the Entertainment District Arc and one new episode from the upcoming Swordsmith Village Arc, although notable during the promotion of the film, it was explicitly stated that the movie would include two previously released episodes and one new episode. This is seen within the first 30 seconds of the trailer.
Following the US release, fans took to social media to express their disappointment with the movie, stating that they felt scammed.
