The weird, dank humor that soared to new heights in light of Twitter and Meta’s lay-offs

Okay, let’s be real. Losing one’s job isn’t really a funny matter.

Imagine losing the only thing possibly funding all your basic needs and your lifestyle, and in this economy no less. To be honest, we wouldn’t be able to fathom how terrible it would feel, especially now that we’re all experiencing an economic crisis and how most of us can’t probably see a way out of this hell.

Yes, we’re talking about the mass firing of employees at Meta and Twitter. Yeah, thanks Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.

And yes, amidst all this uproar and discontent towards all the fuss that is happening over at Meta and Twitter, some beautiful, beautiful people were able to find a way to make this whole situation funny.

Dank memes are obviously Gen Z and Millennial’s way of coping through tough times.

And here, we present some of the best and dankest memes that have come out of this whole……thing.

This is who we are, I guess, as a society. Cue the dog in a burning house meme.
