The race may be finished, but the Drag Race PH S1 memes live on

After the dramatic and fabulous season finale of Drag Race PH, the Twitter and Facebook space was filled with hilarious, serious and heart-warming posts from fans.

What now?

The fans are already feeling the separation anxiety after the first season of the show ended yesterday.

Twitter users also poke fun at their subscriptions on streaming applications after the show ended.

“Filipino gays on their way to cancel their hbo/wowpresents/discovery subscriptions now that drag race ph has ended,” one twitter user wrote.

The ending of the show doesn’t mean well to those people who made watching the show their personality, just like this Facebook user:

The fans of the series are so attached to the ‘extravagant’ talent variety show that they are unwilling to accept that it is over.

However, Season two (2) of the series is still not confirmed.

The ‘Dragdagulan’ Begins!

The hit series produced great looks and creative fashion designs. But it also provided internet users with some meme-worthy moments that were hilarious.

Fans also  pointed out some obvious outfits that have a big ‘ruveal’ under them.

The series may have finished but viewers are still looking forward to Drag Race PH: Untucked. A show dedicated to behind the scenes actions of the competition.

This twitter thread may just be text, but we can all hear it.

For the younger ones, these are references for some voice over narration of sponsors by different TV Variety shows.

They also pointed out, in a joking way, some “formulas’ ‘ how to make a successful lip sync battle.

Wholesome postings

Aside from the laughs and the ‘Dragdagulans’ the community also provided some heartwarming content.

The iconic gloc 9 song, Sirena was lip synced by the top 2 contestants was a great moment for the LGBT community.

The song fought for LGBT rights and their struggles.

Ice Seguerra also made his directorial debut in the Drag Race Philippines Untucked.

A short but sweet tweet by the season 1 winner. Precious Paula Nicole.

A twitter user pointed out that the community should appreciate their local queens even after the show ends because the fight for inclusivity and respect is still ongoing. The show is already a step towards more opportunities and should help open up more serious conversation about LGBT rights.
