#DiscordDown makes users gather on Twitter

Was your Discord app down? Yup, same here and for many others out there for some time.

Popular social platform, Discord, apparently ran into some issues earlier and wasn’t loading for a large number of users around the globe. According to Discord, “approximately half of users were having trouble connecting to Discord due to a broader connectivity issue upstream” and as of writing, most of their staff and users are now able to use the app like normal.

And because of the connectivity issue, users of the platform all went into a frenzy and immediately went on Twitter to find out what the problem was. Funnily enough, the Internet was quick to “recover” from this setback with memes.

Don’t worry, the Philippines wasn’t affected by this at all. It’s just the West and how the people there reacted to the 2022 Discord outage. And apparently, it’s not only Discord that was affected, which can explain how some services and games were down too.
