Fans send supportive messages to Britney Spears after her miscarriage

After a month of revealing that they were expecting, Britney Spears and partner Sam Asghari announced last May 14, 2022, that they had a miscarriage.

Spears and Asghari shared the devastating news they’re going through on their Instagram accounts.

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However, we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”

Fans, friends, co-stars, and loved ones send support and love to the grieving couple.

Some of Spears’ fans also stood up for the pop star, defending her against victim-blaming and other forms of harassment, as some people online were even claiming that the pop star was faking her pregnancy and miscarriage.

After Spears was officially freed from her 13-year-long conservatorship in November 2021, the pop star expressed that she wishes to get married again and have more children. She has been engaged to longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari since September 2021, and the couple announced that Spears was pregnant with her first child with Asghari in April of this year.

The loss of a child is one of the most devastating and tragic experiences a mother and expecting parents can go through. Sorry for your loss, Sam and Britney – hoping for better days ahead of you. /TV
