Lovato’s short-form talk show would address “some of today’s edgiest social topics in frank and honest discussions.”

Guests on show include Jameela Jamil, Lucy Hale and transgender beauty icon Nikita Dragun, with more to be announced.

“Some conversations can be difficult, but I’ve never been one to shy away from speaking candidly about things,” Lovato said in a statement.

“We wanted to create a space that normalizes living your own truth — where people can speak, engage, and more importantly, learn, together. There’s something therapeutic about having raw discussions that people can relate to and with ‘The Demi Lovato Show’ no topics are off-limits and opinions are welcome,” she added.

The talk show is directed by Hannah Lux Davis, and produced by GoodStory Entertainment and Scooter Braun’s SB Projects. Its executive producers are Lovato, Scooter Braun, JD Roth, Adam Greener, Alison Kaye, Scott Manson, Todd Yasui and Sara Hansemann.

“Demi Lovato is a voice of a generation, and we’re beyond excited to elevate their voice with new audiences,” said Brian Tannenbaum, Roku’s head of original alternative programming and former Quibi executive, in a statement.

The show was initially greenlighted in Quibi – rebranded as Roku Originals, with the working title “Pillow Talk With Demi Lovato,” in February 2020.

“The Demi Lovato Show” also caught the attention of social media, with people expressing their excitement and anticipation for the talk show.
