Watching Tenet on the Gameboy, the way Christopher Nolan intended

YouTuber Bob Wulff was so preoccupied with whether or not he could, that he didn’t stop to think if he even should.

Tenet is the latest movie from critically acclaimed director, Christopher Nolan. He wanted people to see it the way it was intended, in an IMAX theater in the middle of a pandemic. “This is a movie whose image and sound you really need to see in theaters on the big screen,” he said.

This quote is what set Bob Wulff on his quest, to put this movie on the Gameboy out of spite.

Like a mad scientist, Wulff used his wits and technical know-how to fit this 2 hour long blockbuster into 5 separate cartridges. Thanks to his efforts you can enjoy Tenet at a crispy 192 x 128 resolution on your Gameboy.

While this is just one out of the many memes sparked from Nolan’s comment, this is the first with an actual feasible tutorial. A lot of the trending posts on Twitter are often just photoshopped.

Tech is always evolving. With every new innovation comes a new way to mess around with said innovation. YouTubers like Bob Wulff give us things we didn’t know we wanted til we saw it. One can’t help but wonder what sort of strange outlandish things we’ll do with technology next.
