Before you even gawk at the idea of having 16 portrait tattoos, the total number of tattoos Nikki Patterson actually has on her body is 52. But the inks that got her a Guinness World Records certificate are the portraits of her favorite musician, Eminem.
The 35-year-old nail technician from Aberdeen, Scotland is currently the world’s record holder for the “most tattoos of the same musician tattooed on the body.”
She had 15 portrait tattoos of Eminem when she was awarded the certificate, and she has since added another one, bringing the total count up to 16.
In an interview she had with BBC, Patterson said “I heard Stan when I was 14 and had never heard anything like that before.”
“He’s been the one constant in my life, and I have seen him perform live,” Patterson added.
But it wasn’t until she was 19 that she got her first tattoo of her favorite musician.
At present, the total number of Eminem-themed tattoos she has on her body is 28. The 12 non-portraits are inspired by the lyrics of the Slim Shady star’s songs.
But while it may seem like she’s been collecting portrait tattoos of Eminem on her skin for a long time now, in fact, she only got started with the portrait inks three years ago.
And as to whether the count will stop at 16 or not, the answer seems like an obvious no.
According to Fox News, Patterson is planning to add five more Eminem portraits to her already impressive collection, one of which is now booked for an appointment and will be underway this month.
