After 20 long seasons, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is coming to an end. The Kardashian-Jenner family broke the news in a statement posted on their social media last Wednesday, September 9.
“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years,” Kim Kardashian West wrote in her post.
“Through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,” she added.
Besides Kardashian West, others names attached to the statement were Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian, and Scott Disick.
The Kardashian-Jenner family also thanked the thousands of individuals and businesses involved in the show, as well as viewers and supporters of the family throughout their 14 years on television.
The family did not mention any reason as to why the show is ending.
The hit reality series, which first premiered in 2007, propelled the Kardashian-Jenner family into international stardom and provided them with a platform for their multimedia empire, complete with clothing lines, cosmetics, apps, and several spin-off series.
The final season will air in early 2021.
