Standby with your maroon hoodies and glitter eyeshadow because Euphoria is coming back!
Zendaya is returning to her lead role in the HBO series as they finally resume filming for season 2.
Euphoria is an American drama series created by Sam Levinson, and it follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma, and social media.
The show transformed television when it premiered last year, with its experimental visuals, complex characters, progressive themes, and a candid portrayal of addiction.
Just days after fans got a first look at a cast table read for season 2, HBO pressed pause on the production earlier this year as a precaution due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But it looks like fans don’t have to wait any longer as the cast and crew were able to return to set while taking proper safety measures.
A Twitter account dedicated to the series recently leaked a photo of some of the ensemble. They were seen staying safe and wearing masks, as they should.

Zendaya will be slipping on her worn out Chucks and baggy sweatpants as she comes back to play Rue, a recovering drug addict and the main protagonist of the series. Among the returning cast are Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, and Barbie Ferreira.
Without giving away any spoilers, season 1 left us wondering what happened to anxiety-ridden Rue with its haunting ending.
Although we remain with many unanswered questions, we’re just glad to be alive to witness this piece of revolutionary television and we look forward to seeing what comes next.
Since the conclusion of the first season, Euphoria has earned a total of six nominations in the 2020 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Original Dramatic Score.
While we’re still waiting for a release date, at least we can revisit this iconic scene from the finale and what many may consider to be Zendaya’s best performance yet—after all, she’s doing it all for love.
