BTS ARMY takes it too far after trying to cancel G-Dragon on his birthday

G-Dragon got a bad gift for his birthday.

G-Dragon from the boy band BIG BANG turned 32 recently, and instead of getting birthday wishes, the BTS fanbase known as the “ARMY” tried to find a way to cancel the star after a post of him went viral. The post contained G-Dragon sharing his personal experience with rejection from a girl when he was just 12 years old.

In a Facebook post made by K-Buzz — G-Dragon said “I confessed to her several times but she kept rejecting me. Even when she got a boyfriend, I was determined that it was my last chance and went to her house.”

K-Buzz added “He said that it was rainy in the wee hours of the night. He bought flowers and waited for five hours but he could not meet her. G-Dragon finally realized that she purposely told him the wrong address and that the house wasn’t her actually home.”

The ARMY then created a different narrative labelling G-Dragon’s actions as a form of “harassment” and that he should be cancelled for it. But while the original thread was already taken down — a Twitter user shares some of the reactions from the original post.

This isn’t the first time the ARMY went after G-Dragon — he was earlier accused of bullying BTS star Suga for asking what brand of shoes he was wearing. The ARMY then created the notion that it was a form of bullying towards the BTS member and started the “G-Dragon bullying BTS” trend.

The user ended the thread by saying:

Fans sure can get pretty toxic, and that they would go to great lengths just to try to damage the reputation of rivals. BTS has already made it clear that they are huge fans of BIG BANG, so there is definitely no need for hate amongst fan groups since both boy bands have mutual respect for one another.

Why can’t we all just get along?
