This #POPKids entry was submitted by Genevieve S. Aguinaldo, who wanted to share the poem written by her daughter, Elisha Lilith Aguinaldo. Elisha wrote the poem “Lola Auntie” to cope with her sorrow and give honor to her grandmother who recently passed away.
Here’s a poem penned by an 11-year-old girl from Los Baños, Laguna:
Lola Auntie
Ni Elisha Lilith S. Aguinaldo
Tuwing umaga, naaalala kita
Aside from writing poetry, Elisha also enjoys watercolor painting, writing fantasy stories, reading, and drawing. She also created a drawing of her grandmother.
