#Quaranthings: Pinoys come up with bizarre food combinations, cravings while under quarantine

With the enforcement of enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, people are advised to stay at home and practice social distancing. While self-isolating and working at the comfort of our homes is a luxury that not many get to have at a time like this, some can’t help but feel the passing of time at home and decided to make the most out of their boredom.

As we count the days while under quarantine, some Filipinos on Facebook are sharing bizarre things they’ve done to their food after having weird cravings, looking through their stock or realizing their lack thereof.

The food entries might make you question what was going through these people’s minds, relate to their product of “bagot na bagot na ko,” or gasp while saying “WTF!”

Whether it’s a waste of time or food, some people are just doing whatever helps them get through these uncertain times. And when all this is over, we’re hoping that we can eat all the food we’ve missed and finally satisfy our cravings.
