Denice Lao releases first Filipino track ‘Araw at Buwan’

Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Denice Lao returns with poetic pop track, ‘Araw at Buwan.’ The song talks about the pains of going through one-sided love and the insecurities that go with it. Araw at Buwan’s lyrics heavily play with metaphors, with the sun and the moon representing two women rivalling over the same love.

Set to be released in all platforms like Spotify and Youtube, Denice is also hosting a single and music video launch gig on March 14 at Baked Studios with two sets. Playing with the theme of the song, the intimate launch will have two sets with varying timeslots, an Araw Set at 3:00PM and a Buwan Set at 6:00PM. The launch will befeaturing Anna Aquino and Julie Samonte of Blind Stereo Moon as part of the line-up and Denice’s friends, Kim Manansala, Elman Amolo and Archival Gan will play her original songs alongside her.

To celebrate her first Filipino-language release, she partnered with local brands like Re-Clothing and Baked Studios.
