Colegio de San Juan de Letran upholds 19 years of Values Advertising

In line with the celebration of 400 years founding anniversary of Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila, the ecclesiastical institution will be having its 19th year of leading AdSpeak to values advertising this April 3, 2020 at the Letran SC Auditorium. AdSpeak 2020, in partnership with Advertising Foundation of the Philippines, is taking the realm of advertising to the theme: Jeepney, beeping the Institute of Communication’s legacy in the industry in terms of ceaselessly instilling values communication to the young communicators.

Biyaheng AdSpeak’20: A Student Convention on Values Advertising aims to represent Filipinos’ creativity and ingenuity. Considering jeepneys as symbol of pride and patriotism, it also drives the cultural identity of Filipinos. 

AdSpeak 2020 is calling all Senior High School and Collegiate students from different schools nationwide to participate in the esteemed competition. Students may join the succeeding categories: Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for TV, Radio, Print, Digital, Campaign, and Branded Communication. The Biyaheng AdSpeak 2020 will grant the following awards to entries deemed worthy after the final selection: Students Choice Award, Online Choice Award, and Values Advertising Award. The industry-sponsored convention will also feature special lectures and presentations by renowned and highly respected experts from the multi-sector industry.

In line with the celebration of Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s 400th year, the Institute of Communication is inviting the alumni who spearheaded Adspeak from 2001 to 2019. Together with them are the representatives from the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines and instructors from the Institute of Communication. This is to acknowledge the commitment and efforts of the people in their adherence to instill the importance of values in advertising. The gathering will start at 6:00 PM after the main event.
