Gushcloud International acquires MODA Creative, builds the group’s fashion vertical

Gushcloud International, a global digital talent agency group, expands its Asia Pacific footprint to Australia with the acquisition of digital talent management company, MODA Creative. Founded by Zubie Brown in 2014, the company boasts of several top Australian-based digital talents and influencers on its roster. The deal will result in the rebranding of MODA Creative to MODA Creators, which will be launched under the larger umbrella of Gushcloud Talent Agency, the talent management and representation unit of Gushcloud International. 

With the acquisition of MODA Creators, Gushcloud International aims to reinforce its dominance over female-centric talents and their audiences by bringing the focus towards digital talents and influencers in the fashion vertical where MODA Creators hold a strong roster of. The talent management company will continue to manage and represent prominent Australian digital talents such as Brooke Iseppi (@brookeiseppi), Shiralee Coleman (@shiraleecoleman), Davina Rankin (@davinarankin), and Lily May Mac (@lilymaymac), all of whom are top fashion and lifestyle influencers based in Australia with a combined follower count of over six million.

Prior to the acquisition, Brown had already been working with Gushcloud International closely on a campaign basis. Summer International, one of Gushcloud’s invested companies focused on social commerce, was the company that partnered with Lily May Mac to launch Lilac, a beauty lipstick line designed for jet-setting female audiences who love fashion. 

Brown shares her excitement over the acquisition and says, “Over the last two years of working with the team at Gushcloud, I have forged a trusted working relationship with some of their key management. MODA is aligned with the company’s greater vision of building a sustainable digital talent economy. This acquisition will now allow us to offer unparalleled global exposure and key services to the talents in our fashion, travel, and lifestyle roster as we also continue to expand this roster beyond just Australia. Some of the brands that MODA Creators has worked with across the years include industry giants such as Coca Cola, Huawei, Skechers, Grazia, and Louis Vuitton. Brown will continue to lead MODA Creators as the Head of Talent for the Fashion, Travel & Lifestyle Vertical. She has over eight years of experience in talent management and digital marketing. 

“With MODA Creators now part of Gushcloud’s international network, we can now offer our local digital talents more opportunities in Australia. This also makes it easier for Australian- based brands to reach Filipino influencers for their campaigns,” said Gushcloud Philippines Country Director, Isha Fermin. 

Gushcloud International currently operates in 11 countries, namely the United States of America, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and now Australia. The acquisition further strengthens Gushcloud International’s already deep foothold in the Asia Pacific region.
