‘Titser ko si La Salle! Rerun’: Remembering the sacrifices of our teachers

DLSU Harlequin Theatre Guild, the premier theatre organization of De La Salle University, is proud to present the rerun of “Titser Ko Si La Salle!” in honor of the tercentenary celebration of the death of St. John Baptist De La Salle. Performances will run at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University – Manila from January 30 – February 1, 2020 in celebration of the Lasallian Mentors Week.

The three plays were written by award-winning professors from De La Salle University’s Literature and Filipino Department, namely Dr. Genevieve Asenjo, Mr. Genaro Gojo-Cruz, and Mr. Maynard Manansala. All plays were directed by Mr. Romualdo “Raffy” Tejada.

A model teacher in a rural school, a young volunteer teacher who tries to fulfill her dream of bringing education to a group of indigenous people through an improvised classroom, and a retired high school teacher who reflects on the legacy she left as a model teacher and the sacrifices that come along with it. “Titser Ko Si La Salle!” aims to shed light on the educators who have taught minds, touched hearts, and transformed the lives of students.
