With several movies, shows, books and other forms of media in its arsenal, the Star Wars franchise has been, shall we say, galactic in its dominance since the 1970s. It started with the book, “Star Wars: The Adventures of Luke Skywalker”, which inspired the first film ever in the cult classic.
As “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” unleashes the Force in cinemas, one hospital decided to up the ante — AdventHealth for Women in Florida, United States dressed up newborn babies as the iconic characters of George Lucas’ sci-fi universe.
“The Force is strong with our newest arrivals!” the AdventHealth said on Facebook last Friday, Dec. 20. “Babies at AdventHealth for Women are getting into character in celebration of the highly anticipated film, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
A baby Luke Skywalker, along with his father, Darth- uh, Anakin Skywalker’s blue lightsaber can be seen peacefully sleeping beside her twin, Princess Leia, who appears to have had that iconic hairdo since birth.
Be seen, a baby Yoda can… with his little green ears, the young Jedi master sleeps peacefully.
Of course, a tribute to the last film of the franchise’s latest movie trilogy cannot be complete without a little Rey, who can be seen wearing her own iconic hairdo.
A baby BB-8 also joined the crew, and he definitely is one of the droids you are looking for.
The baby Star Wars characters’ shots were taken by photography company Baby Force Portraits at the maternity ward of the hospital. JB
