Bobbi Brown is set to share a lifetime of makeup expertise with beauty buffs, after signing up to teach with the online platform MasterClass.
The cosmetics mogul launched her eponymous makeup line in 1990, becoming famous worldwide for her natural approach to beauty. Her brand was acquired by The Estée Lauder Companies in 1995, but she remained as Chief Creative Officer until 2016.
“Makeup has the power to not only enhance your natural beauty, but change the way you feel about yourself,” said Brown in a statement.
“It’s about looking like yourself and feeling better. I hope students walk away from my MasterClass with the understanding that makeup doesn’t have to be complicated, and once you master a few simple techniques, you can then layer in your own creativity and style,” she explained.
Brown’s partnership with MasterClass will see her instruct students on the fundamentals of makeup, such as how to select the right foundation and apply bronzer and blush correctly.
She will also offer an in-depth look at her beauty philosophy, provide step-by-step makeup tutorials, and demonstrate how to achieve a range of looks, ranging from the classic smoky eye to a statement lip. IB/JB
