If there’s one Kpop boyband that really transformed South Korea’s music scene and took over the world with their hit songs sang mainly in a language (that not all of us are familiar with), then it’s probably BTS. And these days, everyone seems to have a full-fledged obsession with them, including the American professional wrestler John Cena.
Just in case you’ve recently joined the ARMY, here’s what you need to know: John Cena is a charter member of the said fandom!
From volunteering to be the boyband’s bodyguard to having their pictures on his Instagram, Cena is really taking his obvious love for BTS to the fullest extent. On Wednesday, the WWE Superstar tweeted that he’s putting BTS’ track “Fire”, which is from their 2016 compilation album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, on the soundtrack to his upcoming family comedy Playing With Fire.
The 2019 upcoming film is about a crew of tough firefighters who accidentally meet their match when they attempt to rescue three rascals. It is directed by Andy Fickman and is based on a screenplay by Dan Ewen and Matt Lieberman.
In the caption, he wrote: “I’ve said before, I admire the message @bts_bighit sends thru music. @BTS_ARMY you’ll hear some familiar “Fire” in #PlayingWithFireMovie OUT FRIDAY!”

Fellow ARMYs immediately joined in the conversation and expressed how excited they are for the movie:
If the 16 time WWE World Champion says "stan @BTS_twt" then who are we to disagree?

In one of his interviews, Cena revealed that aside from bias J-Hope, another thing that he loves most about the group is its powerful fandom. Truly a BTS ARMY, Cena has surely earned his fellow fans’ respect, love, and support.
We stan John Cena and BTS!
