Teatro Marikeño to stage original plays in ‘Dalaga: Mga Orihinal na Katha’

Teatro Marikeño Inc. is a community-based theater and dance company and was formed in September 2001, with the mission to encourage the artistic and practical development of its members through exposure to workshops, seminars, and productions, as well as enhance their talents and skills both on and off stage. The company stages play productions that promote cultural and social awareness while providing education and entertainment to the youth and to the community.

This year, in celebration of its 18th founding anniversary, Teatro Marikeño Inc. will be staging “Dalaga: Mga Orihinal na Katha”, which features four (4) original plays from the organization– “Breaded-Pork-Chop” and “Deboto” by Kevin John Reyes, “Pusang Ina” by Liezel Elaran and “Stage 2” by Dareld Armandico. This production is spearheaded by Board Member-Head for Theater Arts and Production Manager Kevin John Reyes, together with the Artistic Director Alvin John Veneracion
