It was a good day! Fans go wild in Park Bo-Gum’s fan meeting

Korean actor Park Bo-Gum, who starred in K-dramas Reply 1988, Love in the Moonlight, and his latest, Encounter was here in Manila for a fan meeting last June 22, 2019. Without a doubt, one could feel the excitement of the crowd as they waited for Park to enter the stage. The “Good Day” fan meet was supposed to be held last April 27 but was postponed due to an earthquake experienced in Manila.

After two months of waiting, fans finally got to see their Korean idol perform on the Philippine stage!

As soon as the lights were shut off, the audience went wild. Endless cheers were heard all over the arena, and immediately after, Park appeared from the LED screen split in half.

The event was cut into two parts: the fan interactions and Park’s exceptional performances. During the question and answer portion, event host Anne Curtis asked him about the three things he wants to accomplish before turning 40. The Love in the Moonlight star said he wants to get married, study abroad and act in foreign films.

Each segment was filled with thrilling surprises. There were raffle prizes such as shirts, calendars, posters, light sticks. Aside from that, he also gave apeach doll with his signature to randomly selected fans. Park also talked about his experiences while shooting his newest Korean drama series, Encounter.  He was also asked to remake selected romantic scenes with three lucky fans!

Moving onto the second part of the event, Park surprised the audience by entering from the lower box area. He walked around the whole arena while singing his own single, “Let’s Go See the Stars.” Fans couldn’t help but sing along to Park’s performance of Love in the Moonlight’s theme song “Nae Saram” (My Dearest).

Park surprised his fans with dance covers of, “What is Love?” by TWICE, “Pretty U” by SEVENTEEN, “Bounce” by Cho Yong Pil and “Honey” by JYP. He even showed off his talent in rapping g.o.d’s “One Candle” and PSY’s “Entertainer.”

Just when the fans thought the fan meeting was over, Park sang a few lines from Daniel Padilla’s  “Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat”. He then serenaded them with a famous song by Steven Curtis Chapman, “I Will Be Here.”

What a dream guy!

Fulfilling a promise is one of the sweetest things that a guy can do to his girlfriend—and he did just that! He lived up to his promise by giving his fans a “good day” through his heartfelt performances. And last but definitely not least, fans had the chance to meet Park closely. They even received a letter personally written by him during the event’s hi-touch.

The Good Day Manila fan meet was presented by Ovation Productions.
