Benilde Model United Nations (BMUN) is back! and “We are taking the extra mile as we revolutionize this year’s conference to make it at par with its foreign counterparts”, says Secretary-General Rafael Cortez.
BMUN is just less than a month away from its formal sessions. The preparations are still ongoing as the 21st BMUN will go beyond the expectations and will take the extra mile to once again prove that it is indeed the largest and grandest MUN in the Philippines.
BMUN has been consistently providing top-notch quality MUN experience for its delegates. This is made possible thanks to all the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes. This year, more than a hundred dedicated students are continuously and earnestly preparing for the 21st BMUN. Amidst all responsibilities and duties as students, these young people are still able to pour out their utmost effort, time and skills just to ensure that the conference will be carried out successfully.
Every year, the Organizing Committee meticulously plan everything from scratch and this entire process is far from all rainbows and butterflies. In fact, there are times that BMUN and its Organizing Committee are confronted with disagreements. However, all of these are always resolved immediately as their common goal bind them together as one team. “After all, we may be part of different committees, but we are essentially representing the entirety of the 21st Benilde Model United Nations “says Deputy Secretary General, Maria Antoinette Gabrielle Santos.
This year’s BMUN is something you wouldn’t want to miss as it will start a new era, not just for itself, but for other MUNs in the country.
