In the teaser, the Starks are seen walking through the Crypt of Winterfell. Jon passes by the funeral statue of his mother, Lyanna Stark, while Sansa and Arya walk pass through Catelyn and Ned Stark. Towards the end of the teaser, the three of them arrive at their own statues as darkness and ice close in—prompting both Jon and Arya to draw their swords.
Fans couldn’t contain their emotions as they see Jon, Sansa, and Arya reunited after all these years.

When you get excited about seeing the Starks reunited then remember that the Night King and his army is about two dragon flaps away from destroying Winterfell #ForTheThrone pic.twitter.com/4eQ8y2iSOQ

People are especially happy to see Jon and Arya together again as the two always had a special bond. The last time we saw them together was 8 years ago, when Jon gave Arya her sword, Needle.

The Arya/Jon reunion is the main event for season 8. It better be 34 minutes long and Mariah Carey better be singing in the background and there better be fireworks going off as Jon and Arya run in slow motion to embrace each other. And everyone around them better cry pic.twitter.com/QMBNQr8GBh

Probably one of the highlights of the teaser was when both Jon and Arya draw their swords and went forward to protect Sansa. Sansa in that scene though, was like: “Nani???”

The feather that Robert Baratheon put in Lyanna’s statue in Season 1 and Sansa in Season 5, noticeably fell when Jon walked by. It also turned to ice as the army of the dead approaches and people are wondering what it’s significance could be.
The feather you see in the new Game Of Thrones trailer is the same feather King Robert Baratheon placed on Lyanna Stark's crypt statue in the very first episode of the show. #ForTheThrone pic.twitter.com/XOuIvPun2r

In the teaser, people noticed how Sansa’s and Arya’s statues resemble their current age while Jon’s looks like he’s aged. Fans are freaking out about how this could be a hint of Sansa and Arya not being able to survive the battle while Jon lives long enough.

Sansa and Arya when they see that their statue portrays them in their current age but Jon is older in his statue, meaning that he'll probably live longer: #ForTheThrone pic.twitter.com/g2JJRhHpa0

Bran was not there & Jon's statue was the only one that showed one of the starks in an older age, probably hinting at the fact that Arya and Sansa will not survive this battle. but I want my complex female characters to win :(( #ForTheThrone pic.twitter.com/CZc2QqSIaG

ARYA AND SANSA WILL SURVIVE AND GROW OLD I REFUSE TO BELIEVE ON THAT STATUES #ForTheThrone pic.twitter.com/OEUrkGBwUN

Some GoT fans are now asking HBO to reshoot the whole thing if Sansa and Arya are meant to die in the final season.

And in a true Game of Thrones sense, this trailer echoes what Ned Stark always tell his children: “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”
