It’s true that “all the small things” matter especially in the case of the American rock band, Blink-182. A few days ago, there was an ongoing debate all over the internet after Blink-182 fans realized that they had been pronouncing the band’s name wrong all this time.
The “revolutionary war” started when The Late Late Show with James Corden’s co-headwriter and stand-up comedian Ian Karmel tweeted about the right way on how to pronounce the band’s name.
Apparently, everyone was shookt.
We call them “Blink One Eight Two” and we are not even British, but…
Even James Corden himself couldn’t help but jump in the debate, saying that the band should technically be called “Blink One Hundred And Eighty Two.”
Don’t start this. I admit we are wrong on this. America calls them Blink One eighty two. Which is also wrong. They technically should be called Blink one hundred and eighty two. Don’t take some moral high ground here. https://t.co/zm2Gpb6xtT

Note to self: “Don’t take some moral high ground here.”
And before we all ended up in this spiral of confusion, Blink-182’s ex-singer and founder Tom DeLonge finally came to the rescue.
It’s actually— Blink eighteen-two. People have all gotten this wrong for years. Sometimes this can happen with very complex, thoughtful and elevated art. https://t.co/jmsfv401KF

But wait, there’s more! The band’s own Mark Hoppus reminded us of another important aspect of the band’s name.
The “B” should always be lowercase!
What a plot twist, guys!!
