Here’s what we learned about the singer:

Growing up in the industry shaped his music

Jesse McCartney was quite young when he released his first album “Beautiful Soul.” Since then, he’s gone on to create more music and appear in a series of television and movie stints. And just this year, he released the songs “Better With You” and “Wasted”.

He credits this growth in music to his experiences growing up in the industry.

“The inspiration [for my music] comes from life experience – just living and giving to the world. [Because] As you get older, you gain more perspective, more understanding of how things work. And for me, that just makes for great songwriting,” McCartney explains.

He also notes that he was quite a different person back when “Beautiful Soul” first debuted. McCartney admits, “I think ‘Beautiful Soul’ [album] was the early, sort of innocent, clean version of myself – when it was just easy to grab the microphone and sing to people. I wasn’t as preoccupied with what it was I was singing about then. Whereas now, I’ve been more aware of what I put out musically. [I take note of]  what the lyrics is going to sound like with the tune, and what it is I want to talk about [in the song]. I think a natural evolution happens as you get older, especially when you’re in the industry for so long.”

At the moment, the pop singer is content with where he is in his career and he only hopes his fans will stay tuned as he continues his journey as an artist.

Jesse McCartney excites fans with new tracks

Although McCartney has yet to release a new album, he wants fans to know that he’s currently working on some exciting new tracks.

“I only have about 5 or 6 songs I’ve written – all of which will be released next year. The truth is I’ve been so busy touring that I haven’t had enough time in the studio. I’ve been trying to keep up. But there will be new music next year from my tour which kicks off in January. My goal is, sometime in the middle of next year, I’ll have enough music to comprise a whole album.”

However, the singer doesn’t pressure himself with having to finish an album. He admits that for him, putting out quality tracks is more important than simply completing an album.

“It’s about putting out really great quality songs rather than necessarily 15 or 16 tracks. I’m more focused on producing a pop song that’s well-crafted and really well done rather than trying to put together an entire album just for the sake of it,” McCartney adds.

Jesse McCartney is grateful for his Filipino fans

Jesse McCartney was also quick to note that many of his Instagram and Twitter followers are Filipinos. So, he hopes that he’ll soon be able to visit and perform in the Philippines.

“If the fans ask for it enough, then I would like to come out there next year, if possible. You know, I have a lot of followers on Instagram and Twitter from the Philippines so I know that they are out there. And hopefully, next year – that’s my goal!”

And to his fans, Jesse McCartney says, “I would just like to say thanks for all of your continued support. I wouldn’t be anything without you. You guys are the reason why I get to do what I like and get paid to do it. It’s just amazing that you’ve all been so loyal for so many years. And I know that you are some of the most dedicated fans in the world. I just have a lot of gratitude for you and all of your love.”
