A sassier ETC is about to unfold this November

The leading entertainment channel for women, ETC, reinvents itself to better capture the modern women today – beautiful inside out, confident, and smart. For years, ETC has given its loyal viewers free TV access to shows like American Idol, Grammys, America’s Next Top Model, and Project Runway; and just like them over the years, ETC has grown up – now wiser and braver, ready to deliver a richer entertainment experience.

“Over the years, we’ve been successful in providing entertainment with substance to women. It’s time we further level up our game and grow with our market,” says Gidget Policarpio-Lao, Chief Operating Officer of Solar Entertainment.

Because not all women are cut from the same cloth, this time for ETC it’s about updating content with fresh new offerings lined up for the coming months that cater to the needs and interests of women in whichever season they are in. America’s Next Top Model, American Idol, Chef’s Line would be perfect shows for the bold and passionate. Cyrus vs Cyrus Design & Conquer, Backyard Envy are titles that a daring diva who have recently just embraced adulting can relate to. And Celebs Go On Dating, The Proposal, Single by 30, and Sweetbitter are better suited for those looking for intrigue and a more dramatic touch.

Leading the pack though this November is The Bold Type, a new series inspired by Hearst Magazines’ Joanna Coles. It stars Katie Stevens (Faking It), Aisha Dee (Chasing Life), Meghann Fahy (Political Animals), Sam Page (House of Cards), Matt Ward (Remedy), and Melora Hardin (Transparent) as Jacqueline, editor-in-chief of Scarlet Magazine. The series let’s its viewers take a peek into characters running Scarlet Magazine, exploring their sexuality, identity, and love, all the while ensconced in the wild and stylish world of fashion. This show premieres on November 21, Wednesday, at 8PM.

Encompassing diverse interests, ETC speaks to every woman. It tickles their fancy, warms the soul, and stirs passions. From the young to the young-at-heart, ETC is now home to all women, a channel that provides entertainment that’s provocative, inspiring, and empowering. Tune in to ETC on UHF channel 21, Sky Cable channel 16, Destiny Digital channel 16, Global Destiny channel 28, Cignal channel 9, Cablelink channel 34, or East TV channel 1.
