The American pop-rock band, Panic! at the Disco (P!ATD) staged their “Pray for the Wicked Tour” last October 20, 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Presented by MMI Live, the one-night show started with a countdown. When time was up, Brendon Urie, also known “Beebo”, stepped out into the spotlight. The crowd of manic “sinners” then had a great time enjoying the band’s performance.
Their catchy tunes and beats rocked the whole arena. The band performed their biggest hits such as, “(F*ck A) Silver Lining”, “This Is Gospel”, “Nicotine”, “High Hopes”, “Miss Jackson”, “King of the Clouds”, “Crazy=Genius”, “Emperor’s New Clothes” “Say Amen (Saturday Night)”, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, and many more!
The attendees were screaming in excitement throughout the show, as Urie played the piano and displayed his vocal prowess in the songs “Nine in the Afternoon” and “Dying in LA”.
Aside from their original music, Urie also belted out Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and Queen’s legendary single, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Amidst Urie’s performance of “Girls / Girls / Boys”, concertgoers threw rainbow flags to the stage – which the singer then wrapped those flags around his shoulder one by one. This was a special moment for Urie, who came out as pansexual last July.
After more than two hours of performing, Urie expressed his gratitude to his Filipino fans and ended the show with the song “Victorious”.
