This September, St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine will be celebrating mental health week with the event title “Stand, Lukan, Listen”. This will be the first mental health week event of the college and jam-packed activities have been prepared.
Activities will be as follows: Yugto: A Mental Health Forum, which will be held on September 14, with Sen. Risa Hontiveros, Cams Fajardo, Giorgia Danga, Ronald del Castillo (PsyD, MPH), and Gia Sison (MD, MOH, DPCOM) as invited speakers, Likharaya: Expressive Art Session and Kalinaw: Yoga Session, which will be held on September 17, with art instructor Jaymee Duran, debriefing by Jonna Feliz (RPm, CHt), and yoga instructor Yoga For Life Foundation and Beyond Yoga, and Silakbo: A Night of Music, Dance, and Poetry, which will be held on September 20, with SLCM Chorale, St. Luke’s Dance Company, SLCM Musician’s Circle, SLCM Iatros, Buhay Movement, Titik Poetry, and White Wall as performers. Tanaw: Art Exhibit featuring Silakbo PH’s artworks will also be held from September 10 to 14.
All activities will start at 5 PM, and activities Yugto and Silakbo will be open for all.
Stand, Lukan, Listen is a blank ticketing event, wherein anyone can join, with or without paying. Half of the proceeds will be recirculated to fund future mental health projects of the council while the other half will be given to Project MHarawi, a Marawi Mental Health Program to build and rebuild Marawi.
