Tulaan_MNL celebrates ‘Buwan ng Wika’

Tulaan_MNL is a non-profitable community of writers dedicated to promote literature, language, and writing which encourages the society to positively support and acknowledge its purpose most especially Filipino as our national language. Their priority is to establish a community wherein writers can practice and develop their skills, passion, talents, and ideas which will help them to be a better person and have a significant role in the society.

Tulaan_MNL’s seminars/workshops and other events for art and literature held in Escolta, Manila; Intramuros; World Trade Center; Century Mall, Makati; and PUP Manila gave them the leverage to do more. The success of their community programs is dependent entirely upon promotions, student government societies, and financial assistance from different organizations, companies, and private sponsors.

Once again, they are very lucky to have a chance to highlight the talent of young Filipino artists. Join them on their upcoming event this 25th of August 2018 titled, “Tula sa Ilalim ng mga Tala that will also represent the significance of Filipino as our national language. The event includes spoken word performances and live acoustic from different local musicians. Manhattan Row, Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City will not just be filled with music and poetry but also with colors as our very own artists fill this street with beautiful photos and paintings.

The event is in partnership with Araneta Center, INQUIRER.NET, InqPOP! and WheninManila.com

As a community, we would like to take this opportunity to create a significant impact on this generation’s lives. We believe that art is not intended solely for appreciation and creativity but can be used as a strong instrument to shape ideas and change the attitude of every single Filipino that preserving our history, our culture, our heritage is vital and a must.
