DLSU launches National Finance Congress 2018

Finance has been an integral part of business for many years now. Not only is it important for a company’s daily operations but it also teaches one to allocates funds efficiently, effectively, and place it where it is needed. With that said, The Management of Financial Institutions Association (MaFIA), the premier finance student organization in De La Salle University, proudly presents the National Finance Congress 2018 on July 14, 2018 at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University Manila from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The National Finance Congress was first launched in 2012 and has since become an annual project for MaFIA. This year, it will tackle the need to navigate through the changing financial landscape through topics like financial engineering, behavioral finance, and financial technology.

As we all know change in business is unavoidable. Therefore, we would like to prepare and hone ourselves better to face the challenges brought about by ever changing industries of today. This event not only caters to finance or business majors, but it is also for anyone who is interested and passionate about business.

Respected personalities in the field of finance like Undersecretary Gil Beltran of the Department of Finance; Mr. Michael Araneta, Head of Research for IDC Financial Insights; Mr. Mark So of Forex Club Asia; and Mr. Rienzie Biolena, Certified Financial Consultant from CFC Canada.
