The Computer Science Department of FEU Institute of Technology will launch its annual Computer Science Conference 2018 on June 30 at the FEU Tech Gym in Sampaloc, Manila.
The Computer Science Conference (CSCON), which will be open to guests from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature undergraduate Computer Science students’ thesis projects aiming to address today’s societal problems.
With the theme “RealiTech: Technology for the Real World,” the conference will showcase techno-diversity through the projects of Computer Science Students in the field of Software Engineering and Business Analytics.
Renowned Filipino speakers in the field of technology such as Yvette Watson, a Microsoft Technology Solutions Professional; Dr. Sony Valdez, a well-known python programmer known for combatting the ILOVEYOU virus; and Allan Spartacus Mangune, CEO of Taughtworks Incorporation, will be present to share their insights to the students.
Prominent personalities were invited to form the distinguished panel of judges: James Dawit E. Sioco (Product Ready Trainer at Convergys), Charles Gifford M. Relleta (Junior Software Developer at Webcast Technologies Incorporation), and Steffi Tan (Lead iOS and Android developer at Deal Grocer and BeautyMNL).
