WATCH: You’ve seen mango harvesting before but never quite like this

Warning: Do not attempt this stunt on your own.

A unique way of harvesting fruits, indeed! On June 17, a Facebook post by user Jed Nhiko Cabañes Nagales of Iriga City, Camarines Sur, went viral for featuring a unique way of picking mangoes from a tree–one that involved core body strength, spot velocity calculation, and a very eager and willing participant.

In the said video post, Nagales’s friend, the very daring Dannielle Briones Sasaluya, was sent flying more than 10 feet up in the air–cheerleading basket toss style–by members of the MAGDancers group. Sasaluya dramatically catches the mango mid-air (no, really–watch the slow-motion video) before dropping back to her spotters. Watch, and be amazed:

Well, being this was posted on Facebook, people naturally had weird things to comment:

But this guy nailed it with this comment:

Yes, do not try this at home. Only trained individuals can pull this off, and you can trust us on this!

As of writing, the video now has approximately 26,000 shares on Facebook and has already hit the million-view count for its videos.

While highly entertaining, the stunt was far from perfect as it is evident in the video that Sasaluya was not able to hold on the mango on her way down to her spotters. Is a part 2 video in the works? We’ll see. InqPOP!/VT
