Impact Hub Manila and DICT kick off the Elevate National Roadshow to promote homegrown startup

Impact Hub Manila partnered with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched the Elevate National Roadshow, a multi-city ICT entrepreneurial program designed to build awareness about technopreneurship and to empower technopreneurs to bring their ideas and innovations to life.

The Elevate National Roadshow will gather startup leaders from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao for a month-long Roadshow that will engage, equip, and empower budding entrepreneurs and aspiring startup founders. The Roadshow starts in August this year and it will travel to Clark, Baguio, Iloilo, Dumaguete, and Cagayan De Oro.

This initiative was created to support DICT’s SeedPH Program that aims to enrich and strengthen the development of communities in the countryside, which have been crucial in the spread of startup advocacy.

Driven by the clamor to increase the density of technopreneurs in the country, this nationwide Roadshow will initiate much needed knowledge transfer. The Elevate National Roadshow will bring selected entrepreneurs in tech around the country to showcase their stories and find more talent to further grow the reach of the community.

The Roadshow specifically aims to:

During the Roadshow, delegates will stay for 2 to 3 days in the selected locations to engage the local communities starting with Town Hall introductory meetings that will feature inspiring Roadshow delegates, followed by Learning Labs mentoring sessions on startups and scaling, and wrapped up by FUN Nights to celebrate grit in the face of failure.
