Diskurso, “Discourse”, is the aim of the UPCFA Graduating Batch of 2018. To discuss the issues, topics, and problems of the Philippine societal narrative through our creative ideas and abilities in the hopes of that through this visual discourse, these solutions and visions can bring forth change; or at least highlight the need to address these problems.
Join the artistic discovery and discussion with the next generation of young designers, illustrators, filmmakers, and visual communicators in DISKURSO the UPCFA 2018 Thesis Exhibit, running from May 25th to June 1st at the UP Diliman College of Fine Arts.
Under the UP College of Fine Arts is the Department of Visual Communication offering two programs: Visual Communication and Industrial Design. The UPCFA Department of Visual Communication Thesis Exhibit is the annual public exhibit of the graduating student’s dissertations. The exhibit showcases all the students’ design solutions addressing various social, cultural, political, and economic issues.
Our opening night on May 25th starts at 7:30 PM, with speakers, performances, and many more along with the showcase of thesis works of the graduating batch.
Come, discover, and don’t miss out on the discussion in DISKURSO for a display of talent, change and design!
